question Are those free sign-up deals ever actually worth it?

Been poking around a few casino sites lately and the little free sign-up offers keep popping up everywhere. Looks nice for about 10 seconds, then you open the terms and it turns into max cashout this, certain pokies only, 40x wagering, and half the good games blocked... bit cooked really.

I claimed one the other arvo just to see how it actually plays out. Got the bonus fine, had a few spins, even managed a small win, then started reading deeper and realised getting anything out of it was gonna be a mission. Full ID checks, tiny withdrawal cap, and a bunch of hoops for money I never even deposited in the first place. Not saying it's a scam or anything, just felt way less exciting once the dust settled.

So now I'm curious what everyone else reckons. Have any of you actually had a decent run from one of these freebies at an Aussie-friendly site, or are they mostly just there to get you in the door? If you've found one that wasn't a total stuff-around, chuck it in here.

I barely bother with those now unless the terms are sitting right there on the promo page. If I have to go hunting through three tabs just to find the cashout cap, i'm out. Do you lot still touch the ones that fence you into a tiny list of pokies, or is that an instant nah these days?
