I’ve been trying a few of those sign-up freebies lately just to see what’s actually out there, and honestly... most of them are a bit of a joke. Big splashy offer on the front page, then you click through and it’s 40x wagering, max cashout is peanuts, only works on two dusty old slots nobody wanted to play in the first place, and half the time the promo code doesn’t even work unless you do the exact little dance they want.
What annoys me more is when a site acts like they’re doing you a massive favour handing over a few spins, then buries all the useful stuff in the fine print. If the whole point is to let new players have a stickybeak without chucking in their own cash, just be straight about it. Don’t make people dig through terms for ten minutes like they’re reading a bloody insurance policy. I’d rather get a tiny freebie that’s clear and usable than some inflated offer with strings hanging off every corner.
A couple have been decent for testing the lobby and seeing if the place feels dodgy or not, so I’m not saying every single one is trash. But heaps of them are pure bait, ngl. Keen to hear which ones you lot reckon are actually worth bothering with lately, and which ones are an instant close-tab job.
