question Which signup freebies are actually worth a crack here in Aus?

I've been around these bonus offers long enough to know most of them are either tiny, loaded with silly playthrough, or they hit you with a max cashout so low it barely feels worth the mucking around.

Still, every now and then there's one that's decent for a quick look at the pokies without chucking in your own cash first. I'm talking the proper sign-up freebies, not the ones that say free and then want a deposit before you can do anything.

For the Aussie players here, which ones have actually been alright lately? Keen to hear about the real stuff - easy claim, fair wagering, and whether they actually paid after verification or started getting cute with the rules at cashout.

Also, do you bother with these much anymore, or just skip them unless the terms are unusually good? I reckon half the battle is spotting the hidden catches before wasting an arvo on them.

I still check them, but only if the terms page is easy to read. The bit that usually burns me isn’t the freebie itself, it’s when half the pokie lobby is excluded or the win cap is buried in the rules somewhere. If I can’t spot the cashout limits and the ID stuff in a quick skim, I just move on.
