Been around this stuff long enough that I barely look at the flashy banner anymore, I go straight to the terms... and lately a lot of these top-up offers feel pretty ordinary. Used to be you could find a decent little reload on a Wednesday or Thursday, have a spin after work, maybe squeeze some value out of it. Now heaps of them seem loaded with nonsense — high wagering, tiny max cashout, certain pokies chopped out, sometimes even the better RTP games blocked completely.
What are you lot actually happy to take these days? For me, if the playthrough is cooked or there’s some sneaky cap buried in the fine print, I’m out straight away. Same with those promos that look alright until you realise free spins are on some dead set crusty game nobody was gonna play anyway. Cashback can still be alright sometimes, but even that gets watered down pretty quick if it’s bonus cash with a million strings attached.
Curious what everyone else reckons now that most of us have seen the usual tricks. Do you still bother with weekly reloads, or only jump on them when the terms are properly decent? Keen to hear what deal breakers people have, and what kind of promo actually gets your attention these days.

My quick filter now is pretty simple, mate: if the rules aren't clear in about a minute, I bail. I look for whether normal slots count, whether the cashout is capped, and whether I can just play like usual instead of jumping through hoops. Saves heaps of stuffing around.

For me the only ones worth touching now are the boring ones that don't change how I play. If I have to avoid half the lobby or remember some awkward bet limit, I just opt out and play with cash. Learned that the hard way after a small win got stuck in review because I'd wandered onto an excluded slot without noticing.

One thing I'm still not sure on - do you lot screenshot the terms before starting? Had a bloody weird one where support said a game was fine, promo page looked different later, and I couldn't tell if I'd misread it or they changed it mid-session. Curious if anyone else bothers keeping receipts for this stuff.
