Been poking around a few sites lately and I keep seeing the usual midweek/top-up offers pop up after the first deposit stuff is done. I used to ignore them completely, but I had a crack at a couple recently just to see if they were any good or if it was the same old song with rough wagering and tiny win caps.
Couple of them looked decent at first glance, then once I read the fine print properly it got a bit iffy... one had game weighting that chopped heaps of pokies down, another wanted a pretty specific deposit amount, and one expired so quick it felt like you had to be sitting there ready that arvo or miss it.
The one thing I did like was when the promo was simple as — deposit, get a bit extra, fair turnover, no weird exclusions. Those are actually alright for a longer session if you were gonna chuck a deposit in anyway. The problem is heaps of them seem built to look better than they really are.
I’m kinda curious what everyone else rates here. Do you bother with these recurring offers once the welcome deal is gone, or nah? Any sites doing genuinely decent top-up promos without the bloody catch hidden three pages deep?
If you’ve found any that are actually worth it for pokies, keen to hear. Even just what you look for first — wagering, max cashout, eligible games, expiry time, all that stuff. Reckon I’m still figuring out which ones are solid and which ones are just bait.
