Been looking at how different sites handle the regular top-up promos and it's a bit all over the shop. Some run the same deal every week, some only send something through if you've been active, and some look decent till you read the fine print and go yeah nah.
Curious what people here actually rate. Do you like the predictable ones because you can plan around them, or the surprise offers that land in your inbox out of nowhere? For me it's pretty simple - low minimum deposit, fair wagering, not heaps of game exclusions, and no silly opt-in cutoff in the middle of the arvo.
Also keen to hear which places have stayed decent with these lately and which ones have gotten a bit stingy. Not talking about sign-up stuff, more the repeat promos you can actually use if you're already playing there. What do you lot look for before you bother chucking a deposit on?

I’m pretty cynical with these now, mate. If the offer looks sweet but there’s a sneaky cashout cap or half the lobby is blocked once you opt in, I just leave it alone. Been stung enough times that I’d rather take a plain deposit and play what I want.

Best thing I ever did was keep a note on my phone with which places have easy rollover and which ones make you jump through hoops. Saves rereading the promo page every time and you notice fast when one quietly changes the rules.

Do you lot actually bother with the email-only reloads or just whatever's sitting on the promos page? I keep getting those “just for you” ones and half the time I can't tell if they're any better or it's the same thing with a shinier subject line.
