Lately a lot of the regular top-up promos feel pretty average to me. Used to be you could count on a decent little reload every week, maybe some spins chucked in, fair cap, wagering that wasn't completely cooked. Now I keep seeing stuff like 25% with a tiny max, weird game exclusions, or a 24 hour expiry that's gone before you can even have a proper crack after work.
I've been around these offers long enough that the headline number barely means anything anymore. First thing I check is wagering, max cashout, whether slots are actually 100% contribution, and if they've quietly blocked half the providers. Some of them look alright at first glance then you read the fine print and it's basically there to make the promo email look busy.
What are you lot actually rating these days? Straight cashback, reload match, fixed free spins, loss-back, weekend drops? I reckon a boring 20% with sensible terms is miles better than some flashy deal that's full of traps. Keen to hear which recurring promos are still worth bothering with and which ones you don't even click anymore.
Also curious if anyone else has a rule of thumb for spotting the rubbish fast. Mine is tiny cap + short timer + provider exclusions = don't bother, mate. If you've found any proper value lately, chuck it in here.
