Bit curious how everyone here treats those follow-up promos after your first deposit. I keep getting the midweek/top-up type ones and sometimes they look decent at a glance, then you read the fine print and it gets a bit murky... smaller cap, certain games chopped out, expires by the next arvo, stuff like that.
Do you lot actually plan your deposits around them, or just ignore them and play when you were gonna play anyway? I reckon sometimes they can stretch the bankroll nicely, but other times it feels like they want you to chuck in more just because the email landed in your inbox. Ngl I still click through and have a squiz every time.
Main thing I am trying to work out is what people here count as a genuinely decent top-up deal now. Better match %? lower wagering? free spins added on? and are there any sneaky terms you always check first before touching one? Keen to hear how everyone sorts the good ones from the bloody time-wasters.

Bit of both. I only line it up if the promo wallet doesn't mess with the cash balance. Question for the regulars though, if a site has the max-bet rule buried in there do you treat that as an instant pass, or only when the wagering looks rough too?

I’m the opposite now, I barely even open those emails. If I need an offer to talk myself into topping up, that’s usually my cue to not deposit at all. The little spin extras are what gets me rolling my eyes most.

small tip from me, I always check the eligible games list before I put anything in. That's where they trim heaps of the stuff I'd actually play. Anyone else keep notes on which places do that, or am I being a bit too nerdy with it

Nah I wouldn't write them all off like Penny does. Some are fine if the terms aren't doing acrobatics. Free spins are usually where they sneak in the junk for me, and if there's a tiny cashout cap I'm gone straight away.

Got stung on one ages back because I missed the max-bet line, landed a decent hit, then had the whole thing knocked back. Bloody lesson learned. Since then if I see extra rules stacked on extra rules I just skip it and play with my own cash.
