question Weekly top-up promos worth chasing these days?

The sign-up stuff gets all the noise, but for me the ongoing top-up offers are what decide if I stick around or punt off somewhere else. After the first week, you find out pretty quick which places are actually giving regular players something decent and which ones just chuck out a tiny percentage with ugly terms slapped on it.

I’m pretty fussy with these now. If it’s one of those 30% or 50% deals but the cap is bugger all, wagering is through the roof, half the pokies are excluded and you’ve got about 6 hours to use it... yeah nah. I’d rather take a smaller offer that’s actually playable. Same with the ones where the bonus looks alright until you read the fine print and realise it’s deposit + bonus wagering, not just the bonus amount. That catches plenty of people.

Keen to hear what everyone else actually looks for with these. Better to have daily little boosts, a weekly one with fair terms, free spins added on, cashback style promos, VIP reloads, whatever. And are there any casinos lately doing proper decent recurring deals, not just flashy email rubbish?

I mainly play slots, so I’m looking at it from that angle, but if you’ve found any patterns with weekend promos, opt-in deadlines, max cashout traps, game weighting and all that, chuck it in. Always good hearing what other regulars reckon before depositing more into the same old places, mate.

My little rule now: screenshot the promo page before you chuck money in. Not even kidding, a few places bury the max-bet line or the cashout cap in a separate tab, then support acts like it was always there. If the terms take three clicks to find, I bin it and move on, mate.
