Been bouncing around a stack of pokie sites lately and figured I’d chuck this up, because I keep ending up back on the same few games no matter how many shiny new ones get pumped out.
The ones I still rate are usually the simpler stuff. Big Bass for that brain-off sort of spin, Book of Dead when I’m feeling patient, and a few of the older Pragmatic and Play’n GO titles that still feel better than half the new releases. So many fresh ones look flashy for 5 mins then you realise it’s the same bloody game again with different symbols.
For me, the good ones are easy to follow, don’t take forever to get moving, and actually feel decent on mobile. If the reels are cluttered, the bonus rules need a uni degree, or the base game is dead as a doornail for ages, I’m usually out pretty quick.
Same deal with the sites themselves really. I’d rather have a smaller lineup with proper games I’d actually play than pages of clone rubbish. Fast loading, easy search, no mucking around... that goes a long way.
Curious what everyone else keeps going back to at the moment. Old favourites? New ones that are actually worth a crack? Keen to hear what people genuinely rate and what’s just hype.
