question After years spinning, which games do you still rate?

Been bouncing around slots sites for years now and I keep ending up back at the same handful of games. Not talking about the ones that just look flash for five minutes either — I mean the ones you can actually sink a session into without it feeling dead after 20 spins.

For me, the stuff I rate usually has one of two things: either the base game keeps chucking you enough little hits to stay interested, or the bonus round is good enough that you're actually keen to chase it. A lot of new releases look bloody unreal then play like cardboard once you've had a proper crack.

Lately I've still been giving time to things like Gates, Big Bass, Buffalo, a few old NetEnt ones, and the odd Hacksaw if I'm in the mood for chaos... but I'm curious what other regulars here keep going back to. Not just biggest win ever stuff — more the games you reckon are genuinely good over time.

What are your go-to slots at the moment, and why? Volatility, bonus buy value, decent base game, nostalgia, whatever. Keen to hear from people who've played heaps, not just had one ripper hit on a Friday arvo.

bit different for me mate, I actually stop going back to the ones that keep dribbling little hits in. Feels good for half an hour then you look up and it's bled you dry anyway. Gates and Big Bass are fun when you're in the mood for mayhem, but for a proper repeat game I want something where the feature lands without feeling like a hostage situation and the reels don't spend ages teasing for nothing. Some of the older stuff does that way better than the flashy new releases, reckon we've gone backwards a bit there.
