Maybe it's just variance and I'm tilted, idk. But slots rn feel completely different to even a couple years ago. Not saying full tinfoil hat rigged... more like the way they play feels nastier. Endless dead spins, tease after tease, then if a bonus finally lands it's 8x and back to nothing. High volatility used to at least feel like it had some personality lol. Now a lot of games just feel engineered to keep you hanging on with almost-hits and tiny drips.
And yeah I know RTP is over stupidly long samples, providers have different settings, blah blah. I get the math part. Still doesn't change the fact some sessions feel weirdly sterile, like you're not even getting a proper run either way. Anyone else get that with newer releases especially? BTG, Pragmatic, even some Nolimit stuff lately... maybe I'm just picking the wrong games or maybe slots really did get meaner and we're all pretending that's normal now...
