Been bouncing around a few different pokies sites the last couple months, mostly on mobile in the arvo or when I'm half watching the footy, and the decent ones are way better than they used to be. Games load fast, heaps more providers now, and you're not stuck with the same tired 20 titles over and over. I keep going back to the ones that just work instead of smashing me with popups and weird promo junk every 5 seconds.
Biggest thing for me is whether the lobby feels usable or just a total dog's breakfast. If I can't filter properly, find the games I actually want, or jump back into something I played yesterday without digging around like an idiot, I'm gone. Same with cashing out... if a site gets all friendly when you're depositing then suddenly goes missing when you try to withdraw, that's enough for me. Had a couple that were smooth as, then a couple that asked for docs at the most random time which was bloody annoying.
Game selection is pretty solid now though, not gonna lie. Plenty of the big-name providers, heaps of high-volatility stuff, bonus features everywhere, and more mobile-friendly layouts than there used to be. Still a lot of copy-paste rubbish too. After a while you can tell which places have basically cloned the same lobby and chucked a different logo on it.
For me it comes down to fast loading, easy navigation, decent payment options, and not feeling like I'm getting mucked around the second I hit a good win. Keen to hear what everyone else reckons though - what actually makes a pokies site worth sticking with for you?
