question Went down a rabbit hole with the pokie sites taking Aussies...

Been trying a few different pokie sites lately just to see what the go is, and honestly I was a bit surprised. Some of them have a heaps better game range than I expected, especially if you like mixing the newer flashy slots with the older style stuff. Mobile play was mostly fine too, which matters for me because half the time I end up having a spin on the couch or while killing time in the arvo.

What I still can't quite pin down is which ones are actually decent once you get past the front page. A couple looked good at first, then the cashout side felt a bit murky. One had promos everywhere but the wagering looked annoying as hell, another was pretty plain but seemed way less dodgy. So I'm sort of in that spot where I'm not writing any of them off yet, just trying to work out who's actually worth sticking with.

For anyone else playing on these sites, what do you rate most? Bigger game library, easier banking, faster withdrawals, support that actually replies, less stuffing around with verification? I'm probably more keen on smooth payouts and a clean setup than some massive bonus that turns into a headache later.

If you've had a good run on one lately, or got burned by one, chuck your thoughts in. Wouldn't mind hearing some proper player takes before I settle on a regular go-to.

My tip: do one boring test run before you decide anything. Small deposit, no bonus, play a bit, then try to verify and cash back whatever's left. If a site makes that feel like a bloody obstacle course, I don't go back no matter how shiny the lobby is.

Yep, that's the bit that matters. I got sucked in by a promo-heavy one not long ago and it was all fun till I actually wanted money out, then suddenly extra docs, weird pending status, support copy-pasting the same answer. Since then if the cashier page looks half-baked I'm out.

One thing I check now is whether the account tools are easy to find before I even deposit. Deposit limits, timeout, full terms, actual contact details. Sounds boring but the sketchy ones always seem to hide that stuff three menus deep, and it usually lines up with the same sites that get messy later.

I judge them a lot by mobile behaviour after a few sessions, not the first login. Some look fine for one quick spin then start logging you out or hanging when you jump between the game lobby and the cashier. If it's still stable by the arvo after you've popped back in a couple of times, that's usually a decent sign.
