I used to mostly stick to pokies, but lately I've been getting a bit more keen on roulette and figured I'd ask here instead of blindly signing up everywhere. If you're playing from Aus, where are you actually having a decent run with it?
Main thing I'm trying to work out is whether people are leaning more toward live tables or the standard digital stuff now. I don't mind either, just don't want some dodgy setup with laggy spins, weird limits, or a lobby that looks like it was built in 2009 lol. Mobile matters too for me because half the time I'm just chucking a few spins on in the arvo.
Also curious how smooth it is these days with deposits/withdrawals and whether any sites give you grief for being in Australia. If you've found one that's been no dramas, or one that was a complete pain in the backside, keen to hear it.

I reckon the live tables get overrated a bit. Looks flashy till the stream starts buffering or the wheel feels a fraction behind, then it's just annoying. I'd rather a basic setup that runs smooth on phone than some bloody fancy lobby.

genuine question for the people saying mobile matters more now, are you using browser or actual apps? I keep finding the table looks fine at first, then once I start moving chips around it gets fiddly as hell.

Best tip I can give is do the account check early, before you even care about cashing out. Way less mucking around later. I also test how easy it is to clear bets and swap chip values on my phone first, because if that part feels clunky it never gets less annoying.

Yep, this. The boring admin stuff matters more than people think. I've had tables play perfectly fine, then the second I wanted to pull money out it turned into a mess because I hadn't sorted verification first. Same with the phone layout too, if I can't place a bet cleanly while I'm killing time at the servo, I'm done with it.
