question Hot take: the real-dealer lobbies aimed at Aussies are mostly rubbish

I’m gonna say it — heaps of the real-dealer sections on sites taking Aussie players feel half-baked as hell. Same few blackjack tables, roulette that’s either dead quiet or packed, weirdly high minimums once you finally find a decent table, and those game-show style ones shoved in your face like everyone’s keen for spinning giant wheels all night.

What annoys me most is the timing and flow of it. You jump on in the arvo or later at night and half the better tables are full, or the stream is laggy, or the interface is a bloody mess on mobile. If I’m playing with a real dealer I want it smooth and quick, not clicking around like a goose trying to find one normal baccarat table that isn’t buried under 20 flashy side games.

And yeah I get why some people love it more than standard table games — feels more like an actual session, fair enough — but I reckon a lot of sites doing it for players here are just phoning it in. They slap on the same providers everyone else has and call it a day.

Curious what everyone else reckons though. Do you actually spend much time on the dealer tables, or mostly stick to regular roulette/blackjack? Any sites doing it properly for Aussies, with decent limits and no mucking around, or is it mostly the same copy-paste setup everywhere?

Same here. I stopped bothering on my phone because half the time the camera goes fuzzy right as the cards are out, then the bet timer feels like it’s already half gone. And the lobbies with every goofy side game shoved to the top can get stuffed, I just want a clean table list and a seat without digging for it.
