Expected live casino to feel a bit more... live lol. Switched over from slots for a change and half the time the dealer either ignores chat completely or they just do the scripted hello/good luck thing and move on. Not blaming them really, some tables are flying and chat must be a mess, but then what’s even the point of the social part if it feels like talking into the void. Other players barely say anything too, or it’s just weird spam.
And when something actually glitches, freeze on a blackjack hand or bet timing feels off, support is another headache. Live chat support says talk to game provider, provider says talk to casino, around and around. That part annoys me more than losing tbh. Feels like live dealer is marketed as this more human experience, but a lot of sessions feel colder than RNG blackjack rn. Maybe I’m landing on bad providers/tables or maybe that’s just how it is now...

Yeah, a lot of live tables are like that now. Best tip i can give is avoid the headline busy rooms and jump into the quieter low/mid stake tables, especially weird off-peak hours. Dealers on packed blackjack/baccarat tables usually just do the canned hello stuff because chat is flying and they’re being timed on the game pace. If you want actual back-and-forth, roulette and the slower blackjack tables tend to be better. And for glitches, grab the round ID plus a screenshot straight away before you even open support. If you go in with “table X, round Y, timestamp Z” they stop doing the casino/provider ping pong a bit faster... not always, but it helps.

Yeah the provider/casino ping pong is the bit that does my head in. Had a Lightning Roulette session a few months back where the stream froze right after no more bets, then came back with the result already locked and my chip stack showed half my bets missing. Dealer just kept rolling like nothing happened, chat was people typing ??? and getting zero back. Support only started acting normal once I sent the round ID, exact time and a screenshot, so Drongo is right on that. For actual chat, weirdly the sleepy weekday tables are way better than the big branded ones. Those headline tables feel like airports now lol.

Same here, especially on the big Evolution-style rooms where the dealer is basically a metronome with a smile. Had a blackjack session back in May where the stream stuttered right after i doubled, came back with the next card already out and my balance updated like the hand had finished off-screen. Dealer said nothing, chat was just people spamming ??. Support did the exact same provider/casino shuffle until I sent the table name, round ID and the timestamp from my phone clock. then suddenly they could “investigate properly.” For actual human chat I’ve had better luck on the deadish roulette tables late at night. Still hit and miss, but at least sometimes the dealer will answer like a real person.

Yeah, and one dumb little habit that saved me some pain: if the stream even half-stutters after "no more bets", don’t keep firing the next round hoping it sorts itself out. Back out to the lobby and reload from there. Reconnecting inside the table has screwed up the history screen for me before, which just makes the support bit worse. I also take a quick screenshot of balance before/after if anything feels off, not just the round ID. Bit paranoid maybe, but it cuts down the "was the bet placed or not" nonsense. And yeah chat isn’t dead dead, it’s just useless on the big branded tables most of the time lol.

Yeah nah you're not picking wrong, a lot of live chat just feels fake-busy now. Drongo's right about quieter tables helping a bit, but even then some studios clearly want dealers to keep the wheel/cards moving and not actually talk to anyone beyond the canned lines. Kinda kills the whole "live" bit.
The support runaround is the worse part for me too. If a blackjack hand freezes or the betting timer looks dodgy, the casino and provider still play hot potato with it in 2026, which is mad considering every round has IDs and logs. I still play live roulette now and then, but mostly for pace, not for the social side anymore.

Yeah, this is pretty much where live casino ended up. Had a baccarat table in early July where the dealer actually replied for maybe 10 mins because it was dead quiet, then two players joined and it instantly turned into npc mode lol. Same session the stream hiccupped right as banker/player totals were updating, history showed one result, balance settled like another. Support did the usual "provider is reviewing" thing for 3 days until I sent the round ID plus a screenshot with my phone time in frame. got sorted after that, but the social bit felt completely fake. Live roulette is still the least bad for chat imo.

Yeah and the weirdest part is sometimes the dealer clearly sees chat, just only answers the "good luck" stuff. Had a Pragmatic blackjack table back in April where the shoe switched, stream hiccuped right as I split 8s, then the hand history showed one bet line and my balance dropped for two. Dealer kept moving, chat full of ??? exactly like you lot said. I bailed, grabbed the round ID, balance before/after and that little connection warning in the corner. Support still tried the provider handoff first lol, but once I pasted all that they fixed it the next day. Social side feels way better on dead roulette tables than blackjack now, which is kinda backwards.
