question Real dealers or instant play — what are you lot actually sticking with now?

Bit of a rant but I reckon the whole table side of casino sites has gone a bit sideways lately. The live stuff looks flash for five minutes, then you realise half your session is just waiting around while the dealer chats, shuffles, says no more bets, spins, pays, repeats... and suddenly your quick blackjack punt has turned into a full arvo commitment.

Then the instant-play versions aren't exactly saints either. Some of them feel dodgy as hell even when they're probably not, just because the pacing is so fast and the bet options are all over the place. And don't get me started on some of the blackjack rules now... 6:5 can get in the bin, mate. Same with roulette tables crammed with side bets and weird multipliers. Feels like every version is trying to be clever instead of just being a solid game.

So what are you actually playing these days? Still keen on live dealers, or have you gone back to the basic versions because they're quicker and less annoying? If you've found a setup that doesn't feel like a bloody time sink or a sneaky wallet-drainer, chuck it in here.

Do you actually check the little rules panel before you sit down now, or only notice once you've already started? I've been trying to get better at spotting that stuff early because some of the blackjack tables hide the ugly bits in tiny text.
