Been giving the real dealer stuff a proper crack lately instead of just spinning reels, and honestly it feels way less mindless when you’re actually watching a blackjack or roulette table run in real time. Bit more like sitting in a venue, minus the trek and the overpriced beers.
What I’ve found so far is the good ones nail the stream quality and keep the pace moving. If the video lags or the dealer sounds like they’re reading off a script, I’m out pretty quick. Same if it takes forever between hands. Nothing worse than being keen for a few rounds and then spending half the arvo waiting for side bets and shuffle screens.
Blackjack has been the one I keep going back to. Roulette’s fun too, especially if you just want to chuck a few smaller bets on and not think too hard. Baccarat still feels a bit hit and miss for me, mostly because some tables are dead quiet and others have blokes in chat carrying on like they’ve cracked the code.
The big thing for me is whether it actually suits Aussie players timing-wise. Some sites seem heaps better late at night, others are sweet earlier on. Limits matter too. I’m not rolling in it, so I don’t want every decent table starting higher than what I’m happy to play.
Also reckon the game-show style ones are fun for about ten minutes, then I either get sucked in way too hard or get bored fast. Might just be me. Give me a solid blackjack table with a decent dealer over all the flashing nonsense most of the time.
Curious what everyone else rates at the moment — blackjack, roulette, baccarat, those crazy game-show tables? And what actually makes one site better than another for this stuff in your opinion?
