Been trying a few different casino sites lately and a couple were proper letdowns... one dragged the withdrawal out for ages, another had bonus terms buried in a wall of rubbish. So now I do a bit of a sniff test before I chuck any money in.
First thing I look for is what actual players are saying about cashouts and ID checks. If I keep seeing stuff like pending withdrawals for a week or support going missing, I'm usually gone. I also check whether the game lobby is decent or if it's just the same recycled pokies slapped on a clunky site that barely works on mobile. Sounds basic, but heaps of them still feel dodgy once you poke around for 5 minutes.
What I'm still not sure on is where people reckon the most trustworthy feedback actually is. Some review pages look fake as, and even star ratings can be all over the shop. Curious what you lot pay attention to first when you're sizing up a new site — payout speed, licensing, support, game providers, something else?
