question Before chucking money at a new site, what do you actually trust?

Been wondering this lately... when you’re checking out a new casino, what sort of write-up or player feedback do you actually pay attention to?

I keep seeing heaps of slick ratings and scorecards around the place, but some of them feel a bit off, like they’re saying every site is a ripper and none of the bad stuff really gets mentioned. I’m way more interested in the boring real-world stuff anyway — withdrawals, KYC dramas, support being useless, bonus terms that are cooked, that kind of thing.

Do you lot trust review sites at all, or do you mostly go by forum posts and random punter comments? Keen to know what your red flags are too. If a review doesn’t mention payment delays or verification, I pretty much stop reading now lol.

If you’ve got a go-to place for checking whether a site is legit before signing up, chuck it in here. Would be good to know how everyone sorts the decent info from the fluff.

I actually don’t chuck review sites in the bin straight away. The decent ones are handy as a checklist, just not something I’d trust by itself. If they mention who runs the place, how the verification works, any weird country/payment restrictions, that helps. If it’s just shiny ratings and bonus waffle, then nah, not worth much and I go hunting for player complaints instead.
