question Before chucking money on a new site, whose write-ups do you trust?

Been poking around for a new place to play and I keep ending up on those review pages that all kind of sound the same... heaps of 9.8/10 stuff, every site is apparently "amazing", and half the time I still can’t tell if payouts are actually smooth or if support goes missing the second you need something.

So what do you lot actually trust when you’re checking out a casino for the first time? Proper review sites, this forum, random Trustpilot-style comments, Reddit, just word of mouth from other punters? I’m more keen on the boring stuff tbh - cashout speed, whether they get painful with verification, if the bonus terms are dodgy, and if anyone’s had dramas trying to get their money out.

If you’ve found any review sources that are actually decent for us Aussies, chuck them in here. Or even just say what you look for yourself before signing up, because I reckon real player feedback is worth more than those copy-paste ratings any day.

I actually go the other way tbh, I don't trust review sites much at all. Most of them read like the same bloke changed a few words. I reckon the real tell is the cashier page and the fine print before you even sign up - if they make it hard to find withdrawal rules or you've gotta dig through five menus for terms, I'm out.
