question Before I chuck money in, where do you check a casino first?

Been looking around at a few casino sites lately and half the write-ups I find all sound the same... heaps of "best this" and "top that" without saying much about what actually happens once you join.

What do you lot look for when you're trying to work out if a site's any good? I mainly care about the boring stuff tbh — payouts landing when they should, KYC not turning into a week-long drama, support replying like real humans, and whether the pokies library is actually decent instead of 20 copies of the same thing.

I skip the big ranking lists and go straight to the boring bits too. If a write-up never says anything useful about verification, cashout process, or what support is like once something goes wrong, I stop reading. Another good tell is whether the comments and forum chatter are recent, because a site can feel completely different a few months later.
