question Went down a rabbit hole with a few casino sites this week

Went down a bit of a rabbit hole this week trying a few casino sites that take Aussie players, mostly because I was sick of bouncing between dodgy-looking ones. Not doing some massive expert write-up or anything lol, just my take after poking around, chucking in a small deposit, testing the lobby, and seeing how annoying the sign-up and verification stuff felt.

Big thing for me was whether the site felt easy to use straight away. If I need five clicks just to find the pokies, or the mobile version starts lagging the second I open a game, I'm out. Fast loading, clear banking page, easy enough to see the withdrawal rules... that already puts a site ahead of heaps of them. A couple looked decent on the front page then got weird once I hit the cashier, which always gives me bad vibes.

I paid more attention to payouts this time too. I can live with sending docs, no worries, but some places make it feel like you're applying for a home loan just to cash out a few hundred. The better ones were pretty straightforward and actually told you what they wanted before withdrawal. Also started reading the promo terms properly for once, and yeah... some of them are bloody rough if you miss the fine print.

At this point I mostly rate the simple ones: good pokies range, normal deposit methods, withdrawals that don't drag on forever, support that doesn't reply with copy-paste rubbish. Keen to hear what sites you lot are actually using lately and which ones have been solid for you.

Yep, this. I don't trust most write-ups anymore because heaps of them never mention the ugly stuff till you hit the cashier. If I can't find the withdrawal rules in about a minute or chat starts spitting the same canned answer back at me, I just assume the place is all front.
