question Why do half the casino ranking sites here suddenly look cloned?

Bit of a rant, but lately the review scene has gone properly weird. Feels like every second site pushing "best casinos" for Aussie players is running the exact same list, same order, same lazy write-up, same stock phrases about fast payouts and huge game libraries... and then you click through and the actual details are thin as anything.

What gets me is the stuff that actually matters here barely gets covered. I want to know if they take decent payment methods for us, whether support is awake in our timezone, if the withdrawal process turns into a week of document tennis, and if the pokies selection is legit or just 3 pages of filler. Instead it's always 9.8/10, trusted, safe, amazing bonuses, cheers mate, next one.

Feels like something's shifted in the last little while and heaps of these review pages are just chasing the same traffic with copy-paste rankings. Maybe I'm late to the party and it's always been like this, but it's getting harder to tell who's actually tested anything and who's just chucking up another affiliate page before smoko.

Also reckon a lot of them still don't really write for Aussies properly. They'll say a site is perfect, then skip over the fact support takes ages, AUD isn't handled cleanly, or the fine print is a bloody mess. That's the kind of thing that should be near the top, not buried halfway down after some waffle about "immersive gameplay".

Curious what everyone else is using now when checking a casino before signing up. Are there any review sites you still trust, or do you just ignore them and go off forum posts and player comments? If you've seen any decent ones lately, drop them in here... and if you've seen shockers, even better.

Yep, that bit is the killer for me too. Real question though, what makes you back out first now - murky cashout rules, no AUD setup, or support sounding half asleep? Curious where your line is, mate.

I stopped caring about ratings ages ago. If a page somehow thinks every site is amazing and never mentions a single annoying term, I assume they never actually played there. The dead giveaway for me is when they avoid saying what went wrong anywhere, because something always does.

little tip from me, I ping live chat before depositing and ask a couple of boring questions about verification and withdrawals. Not even trying to be clever, just seeing if I get a human answer or a pasted script. Tells you a lot fast. Anyone else do that or is that just my weird habit now lol

I wouldn't chuck every review page in the bin tbh. Heaps are useless, yeah, but I still use them as a first filter for banking options and whether the lobby looks stuffed with filler. Forum posts help too, just not as the only source, because people usually show up either filthy after a bad run or buzzing after a hit.
