question Why do most Aussie casino write-ups read like paid fluff?

Bit of a rant, but does anyone else reckon most casino write-ups aimed at Aussies are bloody useless now?

I go looking for proper player opinions and half of them feel like the same copied rubbish with a different logo slapped on. Everything is somehow "fast payouts", "great support", "huge game range"... yeah right. Then you sign up and find the cashout rules are a pain, support disappears, and the promos are full of gotchas. Feels like heaps of these sites have never actually played there for more than 10 minutes.

I mostly want the stuff that actually matters once real money is on the line - withdrawals, verification drama, bonus terms that aren't cooked, whether the pokies selection is decent, and if the site goes weird when you finally hit something. That's the part I care about, not some polished score out of 10.

So where are you lot getting honest info these days? Forum posts? Trustpilot? Just trial and error and hope for the best? Chuck in any sites you've found reliable for real player takes, or even better, name the casinos people keep hyping that turned out to be a letdown for you.

I pretty much ignore the shiny review pages now and go straight to player complaints. Not even for the drama, more to see what keeps coming up once people try to withdraw. My little rule now is verify early and do a small cashout before I settle in properly. If a site gets weird over that, I'm out.
