question Anyone else rate a bookie by the payout speed first?

Been hopping between a few different bookies lately for NRL and AFL and I swear the first thing I care about now isn't even the promos, it's whether they pay out without turning it into a whole drama.

Some look decent when you first sign up, then the app feels clunky, the live odds jump around heaps, or they suddenly want every document you've ever owned when you try to pull money out. Then you've got the ones that are pretty basic but just work... easy deposit, easy withdrawal, odds are solid enough, no mucking around. That's the sort of thing that keeps me around way more than a boosted same game multi.

Curious what everyone here actually uses to size one up. Do you go by odds, markets, app layout, withdrawal times, KYC, live betting, cash out, promos, all that? Keen to hear which ones you reckon are genuinely good lately and which ones have gone a bit downhill.

If you've got one you've stuck with for ages, chuck in why. And if there's one that burned you with limits or verification delays, good to know that too before I waste another arvo trying them out.

I do a little test run now before I trust any of them. Small deposit, one bet, then try to move whatever's left back out. If that turns into a circus or the app starts freezing when the odds shift, I bin it pretty quick. Reckon the first withdrawal tells you more than the signup page ever will.

Question for the regulars here: do you ever message support before depositing just to see how they answer? I've started doing that after getting a few really vague replies about pending withdrawals. Feels like a useful red flag check.

Yep, that's the bit. Been around long enough to know the flashy boosts mean bugger all if they get weird the moment a punter tries to pull funds out. I can live with a plain app, I can't be bothered with a site that suddenly changes personality once you've had a decent collect.
