question Before I sign up anywhere, what do you lot actually check first?

Been meaning to open another account for NRL/AFL stuff, maybe a bit of racing too, and I keep going down rabbit holes reading people's takes on different books. Half of it sounds useful, half sounds like someone got paid to write it lol.

So for the regular punters here, what do you actually care about when you're sizing a site up? Is it mainly odds, how quick they pay, how painful the ID checks are, cash out working properly, same game multis, app not being a dog at peak times... what ends up mattering most after you've used a few?

I'm also keen to know which things people ignore at first then regret later. Stuff like tiny limits, promos that look decent then turn into a headache, live betting delay, support being useless when something gets stuck. That's the sort of thing I wanna know before chucking money in.

If you've got a site you rate, or one that gave you the absolute irrits, drop it in here. Doesn't need to be a full essay, even just what made you stick with it or bail on it would help. Reckon heaps of us probably look for the same info anyway.

For me the sneaky bit is the rules page, not the front page. I can live with a plain app if settlements are consistent and they don't suddenly trim your stake the minute you jag a few decent results. First withdrawal tells you more than any promo ever will.
