question Local bookie apps have gone backwards lately, yeah?

Bit of a rant, but the last few weeks have made me reckon a lot of the bookies here are heading the wrong way. Every so-called update seems to mean more clutter on the app, more boosted same game multis shoved in your face, and somehow worse actual value if you just want to back a side and move on.

I get that they all want punters building crazy multis because that's where the cream is for them, but it's getting bloody painful now. Half of them feel like they're copying each other too... same boosted tabs, same recycled promos, same little catch hidden in the fine print. And don't get me started on limits. A mate has one decent week and suddenly the account feels like it's been put in the naughty corner.

What I'm curious about is which ones people still rate right now for actual day to day use. Not the flashiest ad, not the biggest sign-up noise, just the ones that are solid on odds, withdrawals, app speed, and don't make you jump through hoops every second arvo. Feels like some of the bigger mobs have got way too comfy.

Maybe I'm being harsh, but I reckon a few of them need a proper kick up the backside. Keen to hear which books you still bother with and which ones you've basically given up on lately.

I reckon a lot of it depends what you actually use them for. If you're mainly just backing one side pregame then yeah, heaps of the apps feel like the same noisy mess now. If you're jumping in late or mucking around with racing, some of them still feel way less painful. Curious what you mostly punt on because that changes which one feels tolerable real quick.
