Been rotating between a few different bookies lately for NRL and AFL, and I keep ending up judging them on the same handful of things. First one for me is the app or site itself — if markets are slow to load, prices jump around too much, or it starts having a wobble right before kickoff, I lose patience pretty quick. Live betting speed matters heaps too, especially if you like jumping on stuff during the game.
Then there’s the less exciting bit that ends up mattering more than the promos. Verification, withdrawals, and whether support actually helps when something goes wrong. A site can have nice odds and a flashy banner, but if they sit on a cashout for ages or start asking for extra docs out of nowhere, that’s where I start marking them down. Same if they limit you hard after a couple decent wins — fair enough to manage risk, but some are way more painful about it than others.
For anyone here who uses a few books regularly, what do you rate most when you’re deciding if one’s worth sticking with? Keen to hear which ones have been smooth lately and which ones have gone a bit ordinary. Not really chasing bonus talk, more the real stuff like odds consistency, usability, payout speed, and whether they’re a hassle when you actually need something sorted.
