question Where do you lot check a bookie before signing up?

Been meaning to open another account for AFL/NRL and maybe a few same game multis, but half the stuff you find on Google feels a bit dodgy or just reads like a sales pitch.

How are you blokes sorting the decent bookies from the rubbish ones these days? I don't just mean the sign-up deal either... more like whether they pay out quick, go hard with the ID checks, limit you after one half decent win, support actually replies, app runs properly, that sort of thing.

If anyone's got a few sites they reckon are genuinely solid in Aus, chuck them in here. Keen to hear the bad ones too tbh, saves everyone stuffing around. Bonus if you've used them recently and can say if they're still alright now, not just a year ago.

What do you look for first when you're sussing one out?

I reckon the first giveaway is how clear the account history is. If I can't quickly see why something got settled a certain way or where a deduction came from, I usually stop there. The flashy sign-up stuff means bugger all if the basics are murky.
