question Seeing heaps more race-day mail lately — anyone actually using it?

Feels like every app, bookie and racing page is pumping out extra preview stuff lately, especially with the bigger spring meetings rolling around. Late mail, track pattern posts, jockey switch alerts, market mover chat... heaps of it all at once.

I’m not having a go, some of it is handy, but there’s so much noise now I dunno what’s actually worth following. One bloke says back the speed, another says the rails off and swoopers are the go, then 10 mins later the market flips and everyone acts like it was obvious lol.

Curious what you lot are actually using these days when you’re sorting your races out. Stable mail? Sectionals? Just watching the market late? Or are you still old school and doing your own form without all the extra fluff?

I reckon the biggest edge is still finding the stuff that casuals miss, like barrier changes, tempo setup, wet track form, that sort of thing... but maybe I’m overthinking it and the smart play is just waiting till the arvo and seeing where the money lands.

Chuck in what’s been working for you lately. Keen to hear if anyone’s found a decent source that isn’t just recycling the same 3 favourites every Saturday.

I’ve drifted back to replays plus stewards notes, mate. If I can’t see a legit excuse with my own eyes I don’t care what the late money does. Keen to know if anyone else treats a big drift as a straight red flag now, or if that’s just me being gun shy.
