question Do you lot plan your bet sizing before a spin?

Curious how people here handle their bankroll when playing pokies. Not talking about chasing losses or any of that, more just whether you go in with a proper setup before you start - like fixed bet size, set number of increases, hard stop after a certain drop, take profit point, stuff like that.

I usually head in with a rough limit and a base bet, but after that mine gets a bit loose depending on how the session is going. Seen some players swear by keeping the same spin amount the whole way through, and others bump it up after a bonus or after a dry patch. I can't decide if having a more structured approach actually helps, or if it just makes you feel more in control when the game is gonna do what it wants anyway.

If you've got a method that you reckon works for you, keen to hear how you set it up. Do you base it on total bankroll, number of spins, volatility, or just gut feel on the arvo? And if you've tried a few different approaches, what ended up being the least painful on the balance?

That's the bit that gets ya, mate. I keep one set for the spicy games and another for the grindy reels, otherwise I start inventing reasons to go bigger. When yours loosens up, is it only after a bonus lands, or when the balance has just been crawling for ages?
