Had a few sessions lately where I finished up thinking, nah, this isn't just cards running bad... I'm giving away chips in dumb spots.
Been playing hold'em for years, mostly low to mid stakes, and every time I do a proper reset it seems to come back to the same stuff — defending blinds a bit too wide, getting sticky with one-pair hands, firing that second barrel when the board is clearly smacking villain more than me. Bloody standard, but easy to drift into when you've played heaps.
So I'm curious what you lot actually tighten up first when your game feels a bit off. Preflop discipline? Position stuff? 3-bet pots? River hero calls?
I reckon a lot of decent regs have that one leak that keeps sneaking back in no matter how long they've played. For me it's probably talking myself into "one more call" because the line looks weird... then old mate just turns over the goods and I feel like a goose.
If you've got a go-to reset for your game, chuck it in here. Not after textbook fluff, more the stuff that genuinely saved you money once you cleaned it up.
