Been poking around a few of these freebie sign-up deals lately and honestly... most of them look better on the banner than they do once you click in. You get a handful of spins or a tiny bit of credit, then there’s a max cashout so low it barely feels worth the mucking around. Bit of a bait move if you ask me.
The thing that does my head in is the fine print. Wagering through the roof, half the games blocked, then if you somehow jag a win they want ID, proof of address, maybe your first born as well. Fair enough doing checks, not arguing with that, but some of these promos are set up so the average punter was never really gonna see a payout anyway.
I’m not saying every free-start deal is a scam or anything, just reckon heaps of them are rubbish value unless you’re super picky. If the terms are clear, the cashout cap isn’t laughable, and they don’t hide behind dodgy wording, sweet, I’m keen. If it’s 60x or 70x on a tenner and a max win that won’t even cover a decent pub feed... yeah nah.
Curious what everyone else reckons. Found any that were actually decent, or are they mostly just good for a quick spin and nothing more? Chuck in the ones you’ve tried and whether they were legit or a total stitch-up.
