question Suddenly 10 spins is meant to be a 'welcome bonus' now?

Anyone else noticed the sign-up freebies have gone properly downhill lately? Feels like every new site is pushing these big flashy banners and then you click through and it’s 5 or 10 spins on some dusty old slot, a max cashout so tiny it’s almost taking the piss, or they want full verification before you even touch it.

Bit of a rant, yeah, but this does feel like a real shift, not just me being grumpy. Used to be you’d at least find the odd decent free chip or a small starter offer that let you test the place without stuffing around. Now heaps of them read like trap terms written in microscopic text.

The one that does my head in is when they splash FREE all over the front page, then you find a deposit step buried halfway down, or the wagering is that bloody high there’s basically no point. Calling that a bonus is a stretch. It’s bait, simple as that.

What are you lot seeing lately? Any recent sign-up deals actually worth a look, or has this whole part of the market gone full tightarse? Keen to hear which sites are still fair and which ones are just dressing up rubbish.

What’s the bigger dealbreaker for you though, the tiny cashout cap stuff or getting smacked with full KYC before you’ve even had a spin? I can live with one annoying term if the place lets me have a proper poke around first, but the instant document wall is usually where I bail.
