question No deposit bonus win then account review... normal or bad sign

Got a small no deposit bonus, ran it up way more than I expected and now the casino is suddenly doing the whole “security review / verification / wait for relevant team” thing. Which ok, fine, I get KYC and all that. But it feels a bit... convenient when it only kicks in after you win off free money lol. If I had busted the bonus in 10 mins nobody would be emailing me paragraphs.

What’s messing with me is the rules on these things are always kind of slippery. Some say max cashout, some hide country restrictions somewhere, some act weird if you’ve used another bonus in the same casino group, and then support talks like you should’ve known all of it already. I’ve seen enough stories of “bonus abuse” getting thrown around for stuff that doesn’t even sound shady. Maybe this is standard and I’m overreacting, but when a no deposit bonus turns into a paperwork marathon right after a win it doesn’t exactly feel great... anyone had one actually pay after this or is this where it usually goes sideways

Had almost this exact crap with a no-depo last year. Ran some tiny freebie up to a few hundred, then suddenly it was passport, selfie, proof of address, “relevant team” blah blah. Took 6 days and they did pay, but they also hit me with the max cashout rule buried in the promo terms, so the balance got chopped way down. Another time a different site in the same casino group voided it because I’d used a bonus on their sister brand months earlier... that one annoyed me more than the wait. So yeah, review after a win is pretty normal. Doesn’t mean you’re cooked yet, but if they start throwing around bonus abuse or group policy, then yeah, bad sign.

Yeah, the timing always looks dodgy when they only wake up after a win, but it doesn’t always mean you’re cooked. I had one no-dep last year where I ran like $15 free credit up to a couple hundred, then got hit with ID, proof of address, source of funds... bit much for a tiny cashout tbh. They did pay, just took 4 days. Another one binned my withdrawal because I’d used a sister-site bonus months earlier, which was buried in terms. Also worth clearing up the $10 vs $20 minimum deposit bit before people list offers, because smaller/newer casinos seem to do $10 more often and older/bigger ones lean $20. I keep that no deposit page around just to compare the annoying fine print.
