Bit of a rant, but the latest wave of signup freebie deals looks pretty ordinary to me. Feels like every mob is slapping a flashy offer on the front page, then you click through and it turns into 10 layers of nonsense... tiny max cashout, half the games blocked, wagering through the roof, and sometimes they want the full doc check before you can even have a crack. That's not a proper freebie, that's bait with extra steps.
I swear a year or two ago you could at least find a few decent ones floating around. Now heaps of them are either free spins on some dead slot nobody plays, or a small chip that sounds alright until you read the fine print and realise you're basically playing for the privilege of proving your identity first. Bloody grim.
What really gets me is how these offers keep getting advertised like they're generous. Nah. If the max win is peanuts and the terms are cooked, just say so. I'd rather a site be upfront than carry on like it's doing punters a favour. Good on ya if you've found one lately that wasn't stitched together with gotchas, because most of what I'm seeing is pretty rough.
Anyone else reckon the sign-up free stuff has gone downhill hard lately? Chuck in any recent ones you've seen that were actually worth the bother, or name and shame the stingy ones if they're taking the piss.
