question Payment options on Aussie pokie sites seem to be shifting again

Anyone else seeing a bit of a shake-up lately with the sites that still take Aussie players?

Been around this stuff long enough to remember when chucking in a deposit was pretty straightforward, and now it feels like every second place has changed banking, pushed harder into crypto, or started asking for docs way earlier than they used to. A few lobbies I used regularly have also gone a bit thin with certain providers, then a week later something else pops up in their place. Feels like the scene is moving around more than usual.

Not having a whinge exactly, just seems like actual news if you play regularly because it changes where people end up spinning. Even stuff like withdrawal times and limits look different lately, and some brands that were fine six months ago are suddenly a bit of a muck-around.

Curious what everyone else is seeing right now - better payment methods anywhere, more site restrictions, certain game studios disappearing, slower cashouts, whatever. Keen to hear from people who are on a few different casinos at the moment and not just one.

Yep, I reckon a lot of them only show their real colours once you try to pull money out. Deposits go through easy enough, then all of a sudden it's send this, resend that. Curious if anyone else has had an account sit fine for ages then get flagged out of nowhere?

The bit that annoys me is how many of them feel like the same shop in a different jacket. Same cashier flow, same support script, same odd holes in the game lobby. When one starts getting flaky I pretty much assume the sister sites won't be far behind.

Little test I do now: I message support before depositing and ask a boring cashout question. If they dodge it or fire back some canned rubbish, I'm out straight away. Sounds fussy but it's saved me from a few pain-in-the-neck sites.

I just do a tiny first cashout on any new place, even if I'm keen to keep spinning. If it lands with no dramas, sweet, I'll stay. If it starts sitting there pending forever, I move on.
