question After a few sessions on blackjack, roulette and baccarat, here's what stood out

Been spending a bit more time on the table side lately instead of just smashing the pokies, so thought I'd chuck up a quick review-style post for anyone who's keen. I mostly played blackjack and roulette, with a little baccarat, and the main thing for me was how different the feel is depending on whether it's a standard game or a live dealer table. The regular ones are obviously quicker and easier if you just want a few hands in your lunch break or late arvo, but the live ones feel closer to being in an actual casino and way less robotic.

A few things stood out pretty fast. Game speed matters heaps. Some blackjack tables fly along and that's great until you realise you've chewed through your balance quicker than you meant to. Roulette felt a bit more relaxed, especially on live tables where you've got that little pause before the spin. Baccarat was probably the easiest to jump into if you're not fussed about making decisions every few seconds, though the side bets can get a bit silly if you start clicking around for the thrill of it.

Interface is a big deal too and I don't think people talk about that enough. If the layout's clunky, cards are too small on mobile, or the betting buttons are jammed together, it gets annoying real quick. A decent lobby with clear limits, rules, and whether a table is busy or not makes a big difference. Same with the dealers and stream quality on live games — if the video is laggy or the audio's cactus, I usually bail pretty quickly. Lower minimums are nice as well, especially if you're just testing stuff out and not trying to go full hero mode.

Anyway that's where I landed on it. If I had to keep it simple, blackjack's still the one I come back to most, roulette's probably the easiest for a casual session, and live tables are good fun when the connection behaves itself. Curious what everyone else reckons though — do you lot prefer live dealer stuff or the quicker standard versions, and which game do you actually stick with the longest?

yep, that bit got me. the super quick blackjack tables are where i do the dumbest chasing, just feels too easy to fire another hand before your brain catches up. funny enough i stick around longer on live stuff if the dealer isn't doing the whole forced banter thing. anyone else jump tables mostly because of the vibe more than the game?

Same on the mobile layout part. If the side bets are jammed in next to the main spot I end up tapping nonsense and getting annoyed fast. I actually play baccarat more for that reason, less fiddly and I don't feel like I need to babysit every second of it.
