question Dealer speed > giant lobby, and I’m dying on that hill

Bit of a rant, but I seriously reckon heaps of sites have got the wrong idea with the live dealer stuff. They brag about having 200 tables or whatever, then half of them are dead, the stream looks like it is coming through a toaster, and the blackjack dealer takes a full minute between hands. I would rather have 6 solid tables that actually run smooth than a massive lobby full of fluff.

For me the big thing is pace. If I am jumping on for a few hands after work, I do not want endless side bet promos, awkward dealer patter, and players mucking around in chat every round. Just deal the cards and keep it moving. Same with roulette, if the spin-to-spin time drags out too much I am gone. Bloody kills the vibe.

Also reckon a lot of places forget Aussies are playing at weird hours compared to Europe. You jump on late and some tables are packed, others have silly mins, and the so-called local feeling is nowhere. A clean stream, decent limits, no dramas with connection, and dealers who are actually switched on... that matters way more than a giant menu of games no one touches.

Curious where everyone else sits on this. What is the first thing that makes you stick around on a live table or bail straight away? Speed, dealer personality, limits, game variety, how the lobby is set up? Keen to hear if I am being too fussy or if other punters are over the same stuff.

I bail fast if the site makes topping up chips a mission. Stream can be fine, dealer can be fine, then you miss a couple hands because the cashier pops over the table or your seat times out while you're moving funds. Been stung by that more than slow dealing tbh. If I'm having a punt on my phone, I want to jump straight back in, not do a whole admin job.
