question Live dealer blackjack is miles better than the computer-run stuff, yeah?

Maybe I am just getting grumpy, but the auto blackjack and roulette lobbies do absolutely nothing for me anymore. Feels too quick, too sterile, and when you hit one of those ugly losing runs it just gives off a weird vibe even if it is all legit. Chuck a real dealer on screen and suddenly I am way more into it.

Roulette is the big one for me. The fast digital versions just blur together after a while and I end up firing bets like an idiot. On the live tables the slower pace actually helps me chill out and not burn through the balance in ten minutes flat. Bit more of a proper casino feel too, even from the couch in the arvo.

Only thing that does my head in is the limits sometimes. A lot of the decent live rooms are not great if you are just having a small punt, and some mobile layouts are bloody awful.

What do you lot reckon though? Are you happy playing the instant computer ones, or do you pretty much stick to live blackjack, baccarat, roulette etc now? Keen to know if I am being old-fashioned or if heaps of you feel the same.

nah I don't reckon it's old-fashioned, but I am a bit suss on the idea that live automatically fixes the problem. For me the dealer version can be worse because I end up hanging around longer, start watching every spin/hand like it means something, then those side bets creep in. The plain computer ones are ugly as sin, yeah, but if I go in with a hard stop and tiny bets they're actually easier for me to treat like a quick session and bail.

best little trick I've got for that is ignore the busy featured stuff first. I usually scroll past the flashy rooms and hunt for the quieter tables because the casual ones can be easier for a small punt. On mobile too, if the layout feels cramped in the first minute, just bin it and find another one instead of forcing it. Saves a lot of frustration.
