question Real talk: where are you playing blackjack from Aus lately?

Been jumping around a few sites lately trying to find a decent blackjack setup and thought I’d chuck this up here instead of wasting more time on rubbish tables.

I’m not really fussed about flashy promos or all the casino fluff. I care more about the actual game stuff - proper 3:2 tables, whether the dealer hits soft 17, if surrender is there, how many decks, and whether the live tables are smooth or laggy as hell once the evening crowd jumps on.

What’s everyone using at the moment from Australia? Live dealer, RNG, both? I usually lean live because some of the auto tables feel a bit dead to me, but a lot of live rooms have gone the other way with tiny limits on one table and then silly high minimums on the next one. Side bets everywhere too... some are fun for five minutes, then you remember why the house loves them so much.

Also keen to hear if anyone’s had dramas with deposits, cashouts, or random account checks after a win. Not talking massive scores either, just normal play. A couple of places seem fine until you actually try to move money, then suddenly it turns into a bloody process.

If you’ve found a solid option lately, what makes it better for you? Good rules, decent traffic, fair limits, no mucking around with payments? Curious what other regulars reckon because I’m due to narrow my list down a bit.

same. I reckon if the rules are average then all the promos in the world don't fix it. Those side bets are a bloody vacuum too, fun for a few hands then you look up and wonder where the balance went.

Little tip from me, do a tiny deposit first, play a short session, then try a small withdrawal before you get comfortable there. That tells you way more than the lobby does. If they want docs early, better finding that out then instead of after a decent win.

Yep, the docs thing is where a lot of places get annoying. I had one that was fine right up until I actually cashed out, then it turned into back and forth nonsense because I hadn't verified first. Now if I'm keen on a site I sort that first and lurk on a live table for a bit before sitting down, you can usually tell pretty fast which ones stay smooth once the evening crowd rolls in.
