Went down a bit of a live blackjack rabbit hole this week and yeah, some rooms feel way better than others. The good ones load quick, dealers keep it moving, limits aren't cooked, and you don't get stuck waiting forever for a seat once the UK crowd piles in. A couple I tried had weird lag on mobile too, which is a pain if you're just having a few hands on the couch or killing time in the arvo.
Main thing for me is the rules and the pace. Some tables look flash but then you've got dodgy side bet spam everywhere, slow players dragging every decision out, and dealers chatting so much a hand takes ages. The better setups are pretty simple really: clean layout, clear minimums, decent shoe game, and a few tables for different bankrolls so you're not forced onto some bloody $25 seat when you only felt like a small punt.
If anyone else here plays a fair bit, what are you rating lately? Keen to hear which live rooms have been solid for Aussie players, especially for smoother mobile play and fair-ish limits. Reckon that's where the gap gets heaps bigger once you try a few side by side.
