question Before chucking money on a new site, where do you lot look first?

Been hopping around trying to find a new place for pokies and I keep running into the same problem... every site says it's unreal, every bonus looks massive, and half the writeups feel copied from the same bloke. Hard to tell what's real and what's just fluff, hey.

When you're checking out a casino, what do you actually trust? Forum posts like this, random rating sites, Reddit, YouTube, just word of mouth from other punters? I'm more interested in the stuff that shows up after signup anyway — cashout speed, KYC dramas, support disappearing, dodgy bonus terms, games freezing on mobile, all that fun stuff.

If you've got a decent way of sorting the legit ones from the rubbish ones, keen to hear it. Even small red flags are handy. Don't really wanna chuck money at a site just to find out three days later the withdrawal process is a bloody circus.

Bit different for me mate, I don't wait for the after-signup stuff to show the cracks. If the banking page, terms and FAQ are vague before you've even joined, I reckon that's the real tell. Curious what you look at first when two sites seem basically the same?

Even with a tidy banking page I'm still skeptical, been burned by that before. I stopped reading rating sites ages ago. Half of them never mention the annoying bits until pages deep, and the comments section is usually the same five lines recycled. I trust patterns more than scores now: support dodging basic questions, verification stuff that feels deliberately messy, terms sending you in circles.

yep, that's the stuff that matters. Little trick I use: open the withdrawal page, bonus terms and contact page on your phone before you deposit, not just desktop. If the cashout info is buried, live chat keeps bouncing you to email, or the whole thing feels half-finished, I move on. Filters out heaps of rubbish pretty quick.
