Been playing online long enough to know most of those flashy ranking pages are a bit of a laugh. Same handful of sites every time, big claims, then you join and it turns into slow cashouts, painful KYC, average pokies, or support going missing when you actually need them.
So what are you lot using these days when you're sussing out a new place? I don't mean the copy-paste fluff either... I mean proper feedback on withdrawal speed, whether they muck around with verification, if the bonus terms are dodgy, and whether the site is still decent for Aussie players right now.
I've got a couple of places and forum members I pay attention to, but things change fast in this game. One site can be sweet for months then suddenly start dragging its feet. Keen to hear how the more experienced punters here sort the legit info from the rubbish.

yeah nah I'm with you on this. Those ranking pages all start looking like the same copy job after a while. My little sniff test is recent forum chatter, a scroll through the banking page, then I ping support with a dumb question before I put anything in. If they answer like a robot or dodge the withdrawal stuff, I bail. Keen to know if other people bother doing that or if I'm just paranoid.

Do you actually trust the support test though? that's the bit I can't get behind. Chat reps will say whatever keeps you moving to deposit, then when you go to cash out it's suddenly 'please wait for the team'. I'd rather dig through fresh player posts, even if it's only a handful, than listen to live chat. Anyone here still puts much weight on old reputation or nah?
