Been doing the rounds looking for a new place to play and ngl, heaps of the write-ups I found were basically the same thing with a different logo slapped on it. Same lines about "fast payouts" and "amazing game library" and all that... then you dig a bit deeper and there’s bugger all about whether anyone actually got paid without a drama.
For me the useful stuff is pretty simple. How long did cashout really take? Did they ask for half your life story in KYC? Was support any good or just canned replies? Are the pokies from proper providers or just random filler? Can you use AUD easily or are they messing around with weird banking options? That’s the stuff I wanna know before I chuck a deposit in.
A lot of the glossy review pages feel a bit too clean, if that makes sense. Every site gets a 9.6/10, every bonus is "massive", every casino is somehow "trusted"... yeah right. I’d rather read one scrappy forum post from an actual punter than ten polished pages that tell me nothing.
Curious what everyone else uses when you’re checking a casino out. Do you trust any review sites at all, or do you mostly go by forum posts and word of mouth? If there are a couple that are actually straight up about payout times, verification and the annoying stuff, keen to hear them.
