question Spent the weekend comparing a few casino sites for Aussies

Had a bit of a look through a bunch of casino sites over the weekend because I was keen to find a couple that actually feel usable here, not just flashy homepages and the same recycled bonus stuff.

Main things I was checking were pretty basic really - how easy the signup is, whether the pokies list is decent or just padded out with heaps of clones, what payment methods they take for Aussie players, and if the withdrawal info is clear without having to dig through 15 pages of terms.

A few of them looked fine at first, then you get to the cashout section and it starts getting vague... minimums hidden away, pending times not explained properly, KYC rules all over the place. That part matters more to me than a giant welcome offer tbh.

Also noticed some sites run smoothly on mobile and some are still weirdly clunky, especially once you open live chat or jump between games. If I have to fight the menu just to find my balance, I'm out. No worries if the design isn't fancy, just make it work.

For anyone else checking new sites, what do you usually look at first? Fast withdrawals, game providers, support, license, something else? Would be good to hear which ones people here reckon are actually solid and which ones are a waste of time.

yeah this bit is the killer for me too. Were the dodgy ones hiding the verification stuff until after signup, or could you usually spot it in the cashier/help pages before you even made an account?

One thing I always check now, mate, is whether they let you set deposit or session limits without having to message support. Sounds boring but it tells you a lot about how the place is run. Did any of the ones you looked at make those tools easy to find?
