question Been through a few books now — which ones are still worth a crack?

I’ve had accounts with a bunch of different bookies over the years and I’m at the point where I care less about the flashy promos and more about the stuff that actually matters once you’ve been betting for a while... fast payouts, fair limits, odds that don’t mysteriously shorten the second you click, and support that doesn’t give you the runaround.

Mainly betting NRL, AFL and a bit of racing on the side, with the odd multi when I’m feeling brave. Keen to hear what sites people are actually sticking with lately and which ones have gone downhill. Not after the usual signup bonus chat, more the real stuff — withdrawals, verification drama, how quickly they restrict decent punters, whether the app falls over on a busy Saturday arvo, that sort of thing.

If you’ve found one that’s been solid for a while, chuck it in. And if there’s one you reckon has turned bloody painful lately, say that too. Would rather hear from people who’ve had a proper run with them than just a quick first impression.

I sort of disagree on binning promos completely. Not the signup stuff, I mean the ongoing bits for existing accounts. They can tell you a fair bit about how the place treats regulars, especially if you're keen on live betting. Some of them are totally fine pregame then the app turns to mush once the match is underway.
