question Before joining a bookie, where do you check if it's actually any good?

Been looking at a couple of new sportsbooks for NRL/AFL and realised half the write-ups out there all sound the same. Bit hard to tell what's legit and what's just fluff.

What do you lot actually look for when you're checking a bookie out? I usually care more about payout speed, whether they go silly with account restrictions, and if support is any good when something goes wrong. Odds matter too obviously, but I'd rather know if a site is a pain once you try to withdraw.

If you've got any go-to places for proper user feedback, chuck them in here. Forum posts, comparison sites, random Reddit threads, whatever. Keen to know what other Aussie punters trust before signing up.

Do you blokes put much weight on the angry review stuff, or nah? I always get stuck there because half the complaints look legit and the other half just read like someone got filthy after a losing arvo.
